Donohue: "Be calm and go buy something."

Thomas J. Donohue, president of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, gave his view of the economic landscape to power brokers at a lunchtime meeting at the Grand Hyatt Denver, sponsored by the Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck law firm.

Afterward, Donohue discussed two points he made during the luncheon: the chamber’s opposition to union-backed card-check legislation, and support of the federal government intervention in the private sector given the state of the economy.
