NARAL leader aiming to protect choice

Nancy Keenan, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America offered brief remarks earlier this evening, reiterating the party's stance on abortion. She said that while the party supports abortion, it also supports sex education, contraceptives and aid for women that have children, whether it is adoption or additional care. "The slogans and bumper stickers…fail to acknowledge the profound complexity most people feel on the issue of abortion," she said.
