Nebraskans for Hillary Want a Vote

Delegate Judy Monaghan said she and the other seven delegates pledged to Hillary Clinton will feel some sense of closure and will be ready to move on and throw their full support behind Barack Obama  - if they can vote for Clinton first.

If Clinton agrees to have her name placed on the ballot for a first round of convention voting, Monaghan said she thinks delegates pledged to Clinton will register symbolic votes for Clinton.  In the next round of voting, they will support Obama.

"She worked so hard she needs to be paid a vote of thanks," said Monaghan who was Clinton's coordinator in Nebraska.

She said Clinton supporters are also cheered by the announcement that Clinton will speak in a high-profile slot Tuesday evening at the convention.

"This is in no way a negative reaction to Obama," Monaghan said. "It will be the final salve that goes on the wound and that unites us."

Give these loyal Dems their moment on the National stage....

gwats
These folks who gave their all for Hillary gave it from their hearts.. which, as a man married to his first and only wife for over 20 years speaks volumes to me. Women lead with their hearts, and this lady appealed to their hearts. This is why this reconciliation is taking so long.
Hillary not getting the Nomination had to hurt these ladies like hell.
It hurt their hearts! I have nothing by sympathy and compassion for those of us who have been hurt this way. Give them their chance to express the feeling and loyalty to the US Senator from New York who gave them hope and move the healing of the party along. Give them their vote and be DAMN sure it is done in Prime Time.
