Maine Dems seek seat in Denver

Maine Democrats seeking delegate status to the Democratic National Convention in Denver in August gather this weekend in Augusta for the state's Democratic Convention.
From those 3,000 state delegates, elected from caucuses in February, will emerge 25 who will go to Denver as Maine delegates.
The convention will open with Gov. John Baldacci and Congressmen Tom Allen and Mike Michaud welcoming delegates, according the Associated Press.
